ROBOF
About the Foundation
The Roselyn Bosede Omokayode Foundation (ROBOF) is a non-profit, health-focused initiative established in memory of Roselyn Bosede Omokayode (née Kolawole), who passed away on September 8, 2015, at the age of 44 due to complications arising from hypertension, kidney-related conditions, and hepatitis.
ROBOF was created to honor her legacy by addressing one of the most critical challenges in Nigeria: limited access to healthcare for vulnerable and underserved populations.
Our Purpose
The foundation exists to promote health awareness and provide medical support to individuals who cannot afford essential healthcare services. ROBOF is driven by compassion, community impact, and the belief that everyone deserves access to quality healthcare regardless of their financial situation.
Our Objectives
ROBOF operates with clear and impactful objectives:
- Provide Healthcare Support
Deliver free or subsidized medical screenings, treatments, and surgical interventions for individuals in need. - Support Treatment and Surgeries
Assist patients who require urgent medical procedures but lack the financial means to access care. - Promote Health Awareness
Educate communities on the fundamentals of healthy living, disease prevention, and early detection.
Our Activities
To achieve its mission, ROBOF engages in several impactful activities:
Health Awareness Programs
We organize community outreach programs focused on educating individuals about common health conditions, lifestyle choices, and preventive care practices.
Free Health Screening Campaigns
ROBOF conducts periodic screening exercises to detect conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and other health risks early.
Follow-Up and Treatment Support
Selected beneficiaries receive continued support, including medical follow-ups, treatment assistance, and referrals for advanced care when necessary.
Our Impact Vision
ROBOF aims to build a healthier society by reducing preventable deaths and improving access to healthcare services for disadvantaged populations. Through partnerships, outreach, and sustained intervention, the foundation seeks to create long-lasting change in communities across Lagos and beyond.
